Sunday May 21st - Reflection

Gretl and I want to take a long reflection on the past week that we did. For the first week we were able to accomplish a bunch of little things throughout the week, but mostly planning for this upcoming weekend. Throughout the second week, we did a lot of planning for spring fest, which was a weekend of fun slip and slide color, war and spontaneously, jumping in the pond. But gretl and I also wanted to create something really fun for the seniors.  A tradition, a tradition that we could start for years to come when you first get a Proctor the first thing if you do the very first thing, if you go out on orientation, you go and camp with people that you don’t know with faculty that you’ve never met , but it brings you together. We wanted to end the seniors year with something like that. We created a proposal that did just that. We want to do a senior camp out at the ski hill on Wednesday night when everyone comes back after express fest. We are still working out many logistics , but hope

Sunday May 21st - Blog #13

Blog #13 On Sunday, we hosted Spring Fling!! It was a perfect day, everything went as planned, there was a lot of setting up, cleaning up, and lots of sliding down the slip n' slide! Gretl and I got there early in the day to drive around get all the materials for the day. The set up, and we had many helpers! Gretl gave me a off t shirt! Then we were trend setters, lol!! Was able to have a huge color war, got lots of gross paint in my mouth, ew!! I think I was super excited to be able to participate in what I planned, definitely more fun! But thank goodness we were able to do a slip n' slide right after, lots of funny wipe outs!! We all jumped in the pond, which was not planned, but still so fun! Finally ended it out with a small golf competition and some kona ice! Gabrielle and I had to clean up after, and then drove around and dropped all the materials! That was a whole 6 hour day, but full of lots of fun! Today's Hours: 6 Total Hours: 53

Saturday May 20th - Blog #12

Blog #12 Today Gretl and I came to school early to help Gabrielle in the office with some organization in the office. In the office we worked on inventory with jerseys. It's funny seeing when most of my friends are missing their uniforms. (Not so funny for Gabrielle, lol). I was very impressed, it is quite difficult keeping everything so organized, so props to Gabrielle and Trish. That organization took around, 2 hours. We spent and hour talking to Gabrielle and writing emails for the proposal. I'm getting a little nervous on if this will happen or not. Finally we ended the night with a 2 hour neon dance. So fun! Was great seeing all the outfits, and the funny high school dancing!  Today's hours: 5 Total Hours: 47

Sunday May 12 - Refection

Weekly Reflection To sum up the week Gretl and I spent most of it laughing and embarrassing ourselves just to make others happy. Gretl and I used our week to mostly plan for last weekend and this week coming. We had lots of fun being silly asking for suggestions and just seeing what makes others happy. we have had struggles planning out our days and what to do during them, but Gabrielle has helped us out with that and hopefully this week we will be able to do a better job of planning and using up all of our hours. We loved working with Gabrielle. She has taught us a lot about organization and the ways to plan out your week. Has also been very good to learn about all that stuff, especially coming into college because it’s not gonna be as structured so she’s definitely teaching us the ways of organization organization.  We have also loved working with the faculty and students, to hear both opinions. we have asked many faculty, such as alicia, gill, Lynn about tips for some ideas. blog#1 Before lunch, I was able to do about an hour of brain  storming before Gretl and I had a meeting with Gabrielle. After a good talk about what are next two weeks we’re going to look like, she gave us suggestions on the topics of the way she wanted to the activities to look like. As weep as the guide lines for the weeks ahead. After lunch we sat down with some faulty and students and we able to brainstorm many different plans for the weeks. I came up with the idea of creating a suggestion box, for many to put suggestions to make the next two weeks for it to be memorable. Very excited to see all of our plans in action.  hours today: 4 total hours: 4
