Sunday May 21st - Reflection

Gretl and I want to take a long reflection on the past week that we did. For the first week we were able to accomplish a bunch of little things throughout the week, but mostly planning for this upcoming weekend. Throughout the second week, we did a lot of planning for spring fest, which was a weekend of fun slip and slide color, war and spontaneously, jumping in the pond. But gretl and I also wanted to create something really fun for the seniors.  A tradition, a tradition that we could start for years to come when you first get a Proctor the first thing if you do the very first thing, if you go out on orientation, you go and camp with people that you don’t know with faculty that you’ve never met , but it brings you together. We wanted to end the seniors year with something like that. We created a proposal that did just that. We want to do a senior camp out at the ski hill on Wednesday night when everyone comes back after express fest. We are still working out many logistics , but hope

Sunday May 21st - Blog #13

Blog #13 On Sunday, we hosted Spring Fling!! It was a perfect day, everything went as planned, there was a lot of setting up, cleaning up, and lots of sliding down the slip n' slide! Gretl and I got there early in the day to drive around get all the materials for the day. The set up, and we had many helpers! Gretl gave me a off t shirt! Then we were trend setters, lol!! Was able to have a huge color war, got lots of gross paint in my mouth, ew!! I think I was super excited to be able to participate in what I planned, definitely more fun! But thank goodness we were able to do a slip n' slide right after, lots of funny wipe outs!! We all jumped in the pond, which was not planned, but still so fun! Finally ended it out with a small golf competition and some kona ice! Gabrielle and I had to clean up after, and then drove around and dropped all the materials! That was a whole 6 hour day, but full of lots of fun! Today's Hours: 6 Total Hours: 53

Saturday May 20th - Blog #12

Blog #12 Today Gretl and I came to school early to help Gabrielle in the office with some organization in the office. In the office we worked on inventory with jerseys. It's funny seeing when most of my friends are missing their uniforms. (Not so funny for Gabrielle, lol). I was very impressed, it is quite difficult keeping everything so organized, so props to Gabrielle and Trish. That organization took around, 2 hours. We spent and hour talking to Gabrielle and writing emails for the proposal. I'm getting a little nervous on if this will happen or not. Finally we ended the night with a 2 hour neon dance. So fun! Was great seeing all the outfits, and the funny high school dancing!  Today's hours: 5 Total Hours: 47

Friday May 19th - Blog #11

Blog #11 Today Gretl and I were very, very busy. Our day started during assembly where we announced the Spring Fling weekend activities. With a very special birthday announcement, for a very special Alicia Barry! After assembly, we went to help Gabrielle set up and organize for the color run, and the rest of the activities for the weekend! That took up most of our day. Next, Gretl and I went to hang up Weekend Love posters around campus. Last thing on our agenda was sending out emails for the POSSIBLE senior camp out, we need some help with supervision with the camp out. That we really are trying to make happen! (If there are any faulty that are reading this and are willing to volunteer to chaperone, please, please, let me know!!) Today's hours: 5 Total hours: 42

Thursday May 18th - Blog #10

Blog #10 Today was a slow day, but good news! The proposal got approved. We sent an email so it could get approved, and Gabrielle helped so much for the approval, so grateful to her. So we planned for tomorrow. As well as talked with Gabrielle on what the next steps were for the camp out. During the day we made a spreed sheet on everything we had to accomplish to get the camp out to happen. Our total hour for the day came out to 3, so it was a slow day. But this weekend will be really exciting! todays hours: 3 total hours: 37

Wednesday May 17 - Blog #9

Blog #9 For Gretl and I’s short day we worked on sending out emails and planning for the weekend. More specifically the emails being for our plan for senior activities. We want to start a tradition. We had the thought of right as you get to Proctor, you go out on orientation. So then we wanted to end the Proctor carer as going out to camp with your friends.  On Wednesday night we want to propose to do a senior camp out on the turf. We are working out logistics to get it approved because we think it would be a great way for a senior send off before all the graduation fiesta starts. todays hours: 3 total hours: 34
